Labourware supplies us with GrievanceWare

At our membership meeting on 10 April 2005 the membership decided to agree to a contractual purchase of services from Labourware for the GrievanceWare system. GrievanceWare links the membership, Collective Agreement, and Grievance creation and tracking on a web-based system. This will allow our Stewards to still initiate a grievance, as is current practice. Use of a computer that connects to the internet is the primary requirement. Non-computer using stewards will still be able to initiate a grievance although it will be done on a paper form which will then be moved to the web-based system by the union office or another authorised user. This is a Canadian supplier with strong union connections.

UnionWare was another potential source that appears to be more centred upon the maintenance of Membership and Dues collection from the closer examination. It also appears to be a US based supplier.
