TTC strike

In view of the lack of warning to York employees concerning yesterday's illegal strike by TTC mechanical employees, it was extremely difficult for many employees who rely upon the TTC for transportation to arrive at work on time or, in some cases, to be able to be here at all. In consideration of this circumstance no employee who was either late or absent as a result of this strike is to suffer any financial loss of salary, or be "penalized" in any other way.
