The Opening of the Emily Tang Dinery

You Are Invited To:
The Opening of the Emily Tang Dinery
the Best Springrolls, Dumplings, Sticky Rice,
Fried Rice and More (Vegetarian and Meat)
Emily Tang Dinery
2016 Bathurst Street
at the Northwest Corner of Bathurst and Eglinton,

SATURDAY APRIL 2, FROM 1.00 - 3.00 PM

Emily Tang was recently fired by the Metropolitan Hotel for speaking out against the terrible conditions the workers inside there have faced. Now she has no income and, as an injured worker, has little chance of finding other hotel work. The wealthy owner of the Metropolitan, Henry Wu, doesn't believe in free speech and, unfortunately, Emily's landlord doesn't believe in free rent. So she has to make a living and it just so happens that she is a wonderful cook of Chinese food.

On April 2 Emily will throw open her apartment so that you can come and sample her cooking. She'll be ready to take your orders to fill your freezer or supply childrens' parties, social events, meetings, conferences, etc. Donations for the food on hand and to cover basic operating costs will be gratefully received. Emily will not give up her fight for justice for hotel workersor let Wu silence her. The Tang Dinery will keep a roof over her head while she carries on the struggle.

For more information, contact Emily at 416-783-3398.
